WELCOMEJustinian Medal

The Justinian Order of St. John Fisher College was formed in the spring of 2002 and is an academic and legal society intended to create collegiality among Fisher graduates professionally involved with the law. Members have the opportunity to gather socially, bond professionally, and pass on the legacy of Fisher’s legal scholarship to younger alumni and students. The group is comprised of over 400 judges, attorneys and other law professionals – all graduates of St. John Fisher College.

Frank Iacovangelo

Frank Iacovangelo, Esq. '62 was honored at the annual fall social reception at Oak Hill Country Club on November 18.  Iacovangelo joins past Justinian Medal recipients Judge David G. Larimer '66,  Justice Francis A. Affronti '63, Thomas N. Trevett Esq. '64, the Honorable Edmund A. Calvaruso '66, R. Wayne LeChase, and the Honorable Joseph D. McGuire '66.

In 1967, Iacovangelo was admitted to the New York State Bar. He went on to be admitted to the U.S. District Court-Western District of New York in 1969, and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1972.

He co-founded the law firm of Gallo & Iacovangelo in 1971 with Louis Gallo. Iacovangelo also co-founded The Faber Group, a local home builder and developer, with his brothers, Bernard and Anthony, in 1980.

Iacovangelo is a past member of the Board of Trustees at St. John Fisher College, in addition to his service with many other boards and organizations.
